Christians are a beleaguered minority caught between Islamic militant organizations that routinely target them for violence and an Islamic culture that discriminates against them. Death threats are routine for church leaders, beatings are common, and damage to church property occurs on a monthly basis. Christians cannot rely on government or the military to protect them. The killing in March 2011 of Christian Cabinet Minister, Shahbaz Bhatti, was ‘one of the most demoralizing acts for us of recent years’, according to a church leader in Karachi.

- Asia Bibi, the first Christian woman sentenced to death on blasphemy charges, is still in prison. Pray for her release
- Praise God that the Christian population is growing, and a steady trickle of Muslims are joining these churches
- Praise God that Pakistan has backed a UN resolution calling for all states to foster religious freedom; pray that this may become more of a reality in 2012.
Dear Father, thank you for the courage of Pakistan’s former Christian Cabinet Minister, Shahbaz Bhati. I ask that you would again provide Christian representation in the Cabinet, someone else who is willing to give his life, if need be, to represent this intensely persecuted minority. Thank you that you are a miracle-working God, the One Who gave His life that our Pakistani brothers and sisters in Christ might live in spiritual freedom. In Jesus’ wonderful name, Amen.

I have been praying the Rosary for persecuted Christians throughout the world. I suggest to Catholics to do the same and for non-Catholics to pray for them according to their traditions.
Heavenly Father, please strengthen the faith of the Pakistani believers. Hold them tight and give them assurance of Your everlasting love and that as Your heirs, they have an eternal home with You. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

Dear God and Father of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ hold the belivers in Pakistan in your loving arms. Let them feel your love for them as they endure persecutions for you. Give them the assurance that you are standing with them in this difficult time and cause them to love not their lives even unto death.
Lord, I bring Pakistan before You this morning. I specifically lift up Your servant Asia before You, and I thank You for the courage, strength and ability to persevere that You have granted her during this extremely difficult trial. I pray for a renewed infilling of grace, of peace, of joy and of hope in You – that You would fill her supernaturally with these things today. I pray that You would send angels to minister to her and comfort her in her cell, and that You would give her a sense of hope in You even despite her circumstances. I pray for her release, Lord – that as soon as Your work in her is finished in that prison, that You would supernaturally arrange for her freedom if it be Your will. Give her the grace to submit to Your choices for her life – knowing that Your plans are always right and that Your ways are always perfect.
I also lift up the nation of Pakistan before You – and in the name of Jesus, I claim that country for Christ. I pray that the strongholds of Islm would be broken over that nation and that the love of God through Jesus Christ would run through the streets and the hearts of every Pakistani. I pray for more Bibles to be translated into Punjabi and for more missionaries to be raised up even within Pakistan that can go to their own people and share the amazing grace of Christ. I pray for the government – that the king’s heart would truly be in Your hand, Lord, and that You would allow for decisions to be made and laws to be put into effect that would somehow benefit Your plan for the nation. I pray that You would save members of the government and that they would begin to seek Your will in leading this nation. I pray for every MBB who has come to faith in Christ, that You would keep them strong and lead them to other believers that can encourage them and live life with them. I pray that You would continue to use Your church in Pakistan to be bold in sharing You with others so that your kingdom can grow in this nation.

I pray for religious freedom for the Christians in Pakistan, and that they would not have to endure fear and persecution for choosing to follow You. I pray that they feel Your love and the love of their fellow brothers and sisters in Christ from around the world. I ask that You bless the church in Pakistan and that it continues to grow in number. I ask that You keep my heart burdened for my brothers and sisters in Christ who are not as fortunate to live in a country with freedom of religion. Dear Lord, Thank you for being with each of us today. Please touch those in Pakistan who have given their lives to you. Touch and strengthen them, keeping them safe that they may spread Your Word to others. Use them as examples for us that we may be as faithful to You, Lord as they are. Show Your love and mercy to them and never leave their side no matter the trials that they face. May more of us in countries such as the USA realize the freedoms we have in our worship of God, and may we do more to assist our brothers and sisters in countries like Pakistan who are denied this freedom and who face persecution and even death for their belief in our Father. Heavenly Father, I thank you for the freedoms that we enjoy in this country, but am so heavy of heart for the persecuted believers in Pakistan. Dear Father, I feel so inadequate to pray for Asia Bibi as I cannog even begin to imagine what she must be going through. I pray for Asia Bibi who needs courage while facing prison and a death sentence. I pray that You will be her comfort – as she must be worried not only for her own life, but about her family as well. Please, give her the strength she needs to face the persecution she is living through. Let her be an example and encouragement to the other Christians in Pakistan. Amen
Lord Jesus, show yourself real to the people of Pakistan. Show the Muslims that hate so much that the true love of God and his mercy and grace are through Jesus Christ and that He alone is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. She You love to the Christians there and touch Asa and her family. Let the people that are killing your people see visions of you as they strike and then fall at your feeet and worship. Here it is morning. I imagine it is night in Pakistan. I pray that you will give Asi a good nights reat and that you will protect her from all harm and danger. We pray for her family..bless her children. May they stand steadfast in You and her husband ..may he have your peace. Once again we ask for her release. We ask that you bless all who are trusting in You. Help them not to feel defeated but victorious in You.. Lord we yearn for miracles in Pakistan and for religious freedom to become a reality. I read about Your feeding the 5000 in Your Word this AM. I know You are the same yesterday, today and forever. Father, I ask in the name of Jesus, for more new brothers become your sons and my new brothers in this spiritual family. Father God, your word says “But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you”, Matt. 5:44. O Lord God, your Son Jesus Christ suffered and died for us. In his resurrection he restores life and peace in all creation. Comfort, we pray, all victims of intolerance and those oppressed by their fellow humans. Remember in your kingdom those who have died. Lead the oppressors towards compassion and give hope to the suffering. Through the same Jesus Christ our Lord.

I glorify Your name today and pray for leaders who are believers already, use them Lord and shield them as they trust in You. Raise up new leaders who have committed and surrendered their lives fully to You and Your service for the furthering of the Gospel in gov. and leadership positions over Pakistan. Blessed Lord God, my heart has been troubled for some time because of the suffering of Your people in Pakistan. I know You are God of justice and truth. Many times believers have been falsely accused under Pakistan’s blasphemy laws and have suffered greatly because of those ordinances. I know the government is under great pressure to keep those laws in effect, but may there somehow be a meaningful breakthrough to repeal those laws and bring about conditions of greater justice for all of Pakistan’s citizens. Help any in government who are endeavoring to bring about justice and fairness for Your people. May it be widely known in Pakistan that these laws are harming their society. Please break through the powers of violence and cruelty that have overshadowed that nation. May Your will be done in Pakistan, Dear L:ord. May Your Name be known in that nation and may Your Gospel go forward. Please help Your people. May they have the courage and strength they need in any situation that troubles them, especially in the face of violence and injustice. Please make Your Name known in Pakistan beginning today, and may this result in Your glory. Dear Father in Heaven, for Your people in Pakistan who are under duress because of violence or because of these laws, may they be very aware of Your Presence with them and Your willingness to help in time of need. I pray that the bibles you allowed me to help supply will bring faith and understanding to my brothers and sisters. Holy Spirit rain in Pakistan today. Let your word go forth and not be hindered Father God. Let Pakistan cry out to you, hear them, and heal them oh Lord. I thank you. I bless your name. You alone are worthy. Be praised. Be glorified.

I pray Lord for the protection of the Pakistan Christians who are serving you Lord. That your Favor is upon them, you will bless them Lord in every aspect of their lives. You will give them wisdom in everything that they will do, and more people will accept Jesus as their personal savior.Nothing is impossible with you Lord ,so all the desires of their hearts will prosper in the name of Jesus. Everything that they need Lord will be provided because you are our Jehovah Jireh. I declare that the church will stand firm you will cover it with precious blood that no weapon shall prevail. I pray for Asia Bibi that she will be release Lord that you will grant her desires. Give her strength Lord in everything that she is going through now Lord. For you will finish what you started in her life. Thank you Abba Father. Amen
God of mercy, God of grace. I pray for my brothers and sisters in Pakistan. Please give them strength and courage as they run the race for you. Amen.
Our great God and heavenly Father, forgive me Lord for not praying for these my brothers and sisters in Pakistan, suffering persecution for their faith in you Lord. Help me to pray for these listed counties where my family is suffering, help me to always keep them in prayer. Father, I pray you meet the needs there and we think of Zafar and family with Noel’s medicines and Ester’s health, the money Zafar owes for the roof, provide for these I pray.
Then those who are in prison and suffering torture for their faith, I pray you give strength, mercy, comfort and peace to these. Give leniency by the officers in charge and the officials in the country. I thank you for those who have stood up for them and lost their lives, release the chains of bondage for them I pray. Meet their every need, thou knows what they are. For I ask in Jesus worthy name. amen

Lord, you know my heart, you know the hearts of all of these who pray for the persecuted. You watch over all of us Lord and you know us as your own. I ask that you would be over your children who suffer in Pakistan and in other countries as well. Give them the courage to carry on and to never give up! Lord I don’t know all that they are going through, I can’t imagine what they are going through…but I still ask that you strengthen them. In your holy name, Amen.

Highly educated Muslim born woman, mother of 4 children, converted to Christianity from Islam Pakistan. She is in great fear of death under Islamic law in Pakistan. She has been subjected to allegations under blasphemy law in Pakistan, Muslim religious clerics decreed her liable to death punishment as religion of Islam. And her cousin in law turned to enemy because of her conversion. The mercy of our Heavenly Father worked through some Christians of locality, by their help she succeeded to escape from the detention illegal. She has taken refuge in the church for protection of their life and belief with her five years son. She is waiting for safe evacuation from Pakistan to avail international protection for Safety of life and her faith in Christ.
