Christian Persecution in PakistanChristians are caught between Islamic militant organizations, an Islamizing culture and a weak government with a military complicit in fuelling Islamic militants. The Rimsha Masih case prompted a debate on blasphemy laws, but others still face charges and extremist groups continue to incite hatred for Christians. Many persecuted Christians are uneducated manual workers who suffer unfair treatment from employers. Muslim men continue to sexually assault underage Christian girls. Opening a new church building is virtually impossible and emigration of Christians continues.

Pray:

  • Praise God that the laws of Pakistan give Christians considerable freedom to run established churches
  • Give thanks that the Christian population is growing and a steady but significant trickle of Muslims are joining churches
  • For imprisoned Christian Asia Bibi, sentenced to death on blasphemy charges.
Help Christians where the need is greatest!

Hi all friend I am Pastor Nadeem from Lahore Pakistan. more than 250 houses of Christians are burnt by muslims in Lahore Pakistan, Please pray for that

  • Amy

Lord, I want to pray today for my brothers and sisters in Pakistan. First I want to pray for “Selina” and “Brother Quornelius” – I pray that if Quornelius is still alive that You would bring him home to his family. I pray that You would protect Selina and her family and give them wisdom in how to live in this dangerous place. Please provide everything that they need and bring comfort to them… they need You so much.

I also pray for Pastor Nadeem and Rev Isaac who posted below. I pray for all of the Christians in Pakistan whose churches have been burnt down. I pray for physical and emotional healing for all involved and that You would continue to provide places for them to worship. I pray for those who attacked the churches – that You would get a hold of their hearts and give them Saul of Tarsus experiences so that they too can be saved. I pray for an increase in MBBs in Lahore, Pakistan! I also pray for Rev Isaac’s church – I pray that You would send people to help him to rebuild his church and all of the resources that they need to continue to function and to serve and evangelize. Please renew hope in both of them and remind them that You are with them and will never leave them!

I do want to thank You for the comparative freedom that Pakistanis have to continue to run established churches. Please help the leaders of those churches to maximize this opportunity and use their churches to be salt and light in a very dark place. I also want to thank You for the steady increase of MBBs and the increase in Christ-followers in Pakistan. Continue to grow Your church!

I also want to join my prayers together with my brothers and sisters on behalf of Asia Bibi. We are praying specifically for her release and for the revoking of her death sentence. We are praying for justice to be done and for her quick release. Please continue to give her strength – tons of supernatural strength – and protection and provision as she continues to suffer in prison. I can’t imagine how hard that must be for her. Please comfort her family and strengthen them until the moment that You have ordained for her release. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Father God, I pray that you will allow this beloved Quornelius, a son of Yours and Pastor, to return home to his family soon. I pray he is still alive. I praise You Lord that the laws of Pakistan give Christians considerable freedom to run established churches, and I pray that You bless the leaders of this country who are allowing this to happen.I also give thanks that the Christian population is growing and a steady but significant trickle of Muslims are joining churches and learning about the saving Grace of Jesus Who died for their sins and ours.
I pray also for imprisoned Christian Asia Bibi, sentenced to death on blasphemy charges. Would You please see to her immient release from prison so she too can be returned to her family and be allowed to go into exile? Please intervene for Your children Lord, at every level of life. Some of us aren’t suffering as much as others are constantly, yet our lives are also encumbered by things that officials refuse to do anything about. PLEASE Father God, answer our prayers in Jesus’ Name, and thank You so much Lord our King. I give You all Glory due Your Name. AMEN.

Father, in Jesus name, and by the power of His blood, we come to you in prayer to Praise you and thank you that the laws of Pakistan give Christians considerable freedom
to run established churches. We also thank you that the Christian population is growing and that steady, but significant trickles of Muslims are joining churches. We ask you to intervene miraculously in Asia Bibi’s situation. We ask you to encourage her to stand firm on her faith. We ask you to reverse that sentence of death and give her freedom so that she will be reunited with her family. We ask you for Selina and her Father and all the ones in the same situation. We ask you to protect them and help them to be reunited with their loved ones. We ask you for Pastor Jirom Isaac who posted and who is asking for help to build a church. We ask you to provide the materials and the builders, and to help them to build the church. We rebuke the spirit of poverty and ask you to provide all of their needs according to your riches in Glory. We ask you for pastor Nadeem who also posted and who is asking you to help the Christians in Lahore Pakistan. We ask you to protect them with your precious blood. We rebuke the spirit of death and persecution that the devil has used from long ago. We declare that you go before the Christians in Lahore Pakistan, and all the places in India were they are persecuted, as a mighty warrior. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and that your church advances in Lahore and all over India. We ask you for the salvation of those that have been persecuting your church. We ask you to rebuild yourself to them as you did to Paul. Strike them mightily in such a way that they will have to recognize that you are God and that you take care of your children. Make them repent and fall on their knees before your power and love and recognize that you are LORD. In Jesus Name, Amen.

We face persecution just about everywhere on this planet. I for one will not hide. The Apostle Paul did not hide nor did the other Apostles. Let us remember his words in the Letter to the Romans, “And not only this, but we also exult in tribulations, knowing that tribulation bring about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope;and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. “Rom 5:3-5. And even later Paul writes, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril or sword?” Rom 8:35. And still pushes forward this point,”For I convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus.
Let us focus on God’s Word and stand on it. Is a house or building of more value than standing on his Word? If we stand on God’s Word and pray he will stand with us regardless of all the Christian homes or Church buildings they burn.

    Dear Lord

We pray for all our brothers and sisters in Pakistan. We are grateful for those courageous men in office who gave their lives seeking to defend sister Asia Bibi. We pray for her and all those that she represents, her husband and children. We would pray that by your sovereign power over the forces of darkness that you will reunite this family in peace. We lift before you those who courageously share the good news of salvation at great personal risk. We long for the day of your return when true peace and righteousness will be established aver the whole earth and every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Amen
