Although Turkey is a secular state, government restrictions, social hostilities and nationalism are key sources of persecution, causing discrimination, hate crimes and unfair judicial treatments. Muslims who convert to Christianity risk losing their jobs and being disinherited by their family. Some churches are registered and have permission to organize church services. Police officers are present in some church services to protect church-goers, but also to monitor the activities of Christians.
Pray:
- Sharing the gospel is socially unacceptable and sometimes dangerous. Ask God to protect those reaching out with the love of Jesus
- In recent years Turkey has become more open to public expressions of Islam under the government of Prime Minister Erdoğan. Pray for more openness to the gospel
- The trial against the murderers of three Christians in Malatya is still ongoing. Pray for justice to be done.
My words are inadequate, but God knows the prayer of my heart. May His truth reign in the land of Turkey, and may Islam not take over the country. May the Lord give strength and courage to the believers in Jesus Christ who live there, and may He protect His servants who are ministering to believers. May His will be done in the trials of those who killed the three men, and may He comfort and strengthen their families. In His Son’s name, Amen.

We speak reconcilation between the poeple of this land and God Most High. We say that Jesus Christ is Lord over Turkey.
Lord we pray for the belivers & ask for You to encourage them today…Send forth Your Word and comfort them…& keep them safe…..encourage them by the Power of Holy Spirit.
We pray for the government asking for a powful move of God to come and break their hearts for their Messiah. Send Your mercy and grace to Turkey today…
